Flavor Flav is coming to Jelly Roll's defense amid the country star's decision to stay off social media.

On Wednesday, April 24, a clip of Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie XO explaining his decision to leave social media due to bullying went viral. The video eventually reached the Public Enemy rapper's timeline, and it struck a nerve.

"Y'all gone and bullied one of THE NICEST guys off social media... my man helping so many people everyday better their lives," Flavor Flav wrote in an Instagram Story. "LOVE me some JellyRoll and Bunnie... NOT COOL."

Flavor Flav and Jelly Roll have been friends for some time. They even had a memorable moment on the yellow carpet at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards earlier this month. Naturally, Flav is going to defend his good friend. He took to X/Twitter and posted a video in which he demands critics to stop bullying his friend and others.

"For all of y'all that's trying to judge my boy, Jelly Roll, I think y'all need to take a step back and judge yourselves," Flav said in the video. "Because y'all judging him is not going to stop him from being successful."

Flav's defense comes after Jelly Roll ditched social media due to all the horrendous comments and insults about his weight. His wife Bunnie explained all the bullying on the Internet "hurt" him and ultimately drove him away.

"My husband doesn't show it to you guys but I'm gonna have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him," Bunnie explained. "The internet can say whatever the f**k they want about you and they say, 'Well you're a celebrity, you're supposed to be able to handle it.' No the f**k we're not."
