I simply adore Maddie & Tae! And Jill too!
You already know who Maddie & Tae are. Who is Jill? Jill is a friend of mine that works for their record label. The original plan was for me to host a formal interview with Maddie and Tae via Zoom, but what we ended up with was a WAY more fun, INformal, candid chat between friends! And ya know... I gotta say that I actually like this way better! So here we are, just Zoomin' and chattin' and catching up. I hope you enjoy the convo! And a special thanks to Jill for setting this up!
I do want to get in a formal plug for their new album The Way It Feels though. One of the coolest parts of my job is getting to see artists at the very start of their career and watching them progress and grow over the years. When Maddie & Tae first came out with "Girl In A Country Song," they were obviously mega-talented and instantly lovable, but to watch them grow and watch their career progress has been so exciting. They have had a few setbacks, namely their original record label closing down, but in the end, it had only made them stronger, that much better, and has led them to a much better place. They deserve every accolade and every bit of praise that they have gotten through the years, and it's going to be such a pleasure for us fans of Maddie & Tae to keep watching them continue to grow. They are SO good, SO polished, and I can't wait to see what's next for them. Whatever it is, I am sure it will be full of great things.
