Chris Young switched gears from the usual, massive arenas and amphitheaters he typically plays. Instead, the country hitmaker took the stage at one of the bars on Lower Broadway in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Young said “sometimes you let the Broadway band take a break,” as he shared a clip on TikTok on Tuesday (August 29), appearing to take the stage at Second Fiddle with a rendition of “Aw Naw,” a single that released on Young’s 11-track project in 2013, A.M. (the album also included “Lonely Eyes,” “Who I Am With You” and other fan-favorite tracks).

“Aw naw, somebody just bought a/ Shot of that Patron, hang on/ I just might have to stay/ Aw naw, look at the time, y'all/ What happened to coats on, long gone/ I should be halfway home but aw naw”

Young’s most recent single to release is “Young Love & Saturday Nights” — a perfect summertime anthem with a nod to late icon David Bowie — “Looking For You” and “All Dogs Go To Heaven,” as he readies his next era of music. The country star, who recently revealed an impressive 60-pound weight loss transformation, latest releases follow career-spanning hits like “Famous Friends,” “I’m Comin’ Over,” “Gettin’ You Home,” “Losing Sleep” and many others.
