Jordan Davis said his son Locklan, now two-and-a-half, is following in his footsteps in adorable ways. The award-winning “Next Thing You Know” star said his mother pointed out ways Locklan is just like Davis was as a kid.
“It’s really weird, because my Mom said that Locklan is me as a kid,” Davis said, per his record label. “I was into everything, always had to make sure I wasn’t trying to hurt myself, but what’s really wild is he looks just like my brother (Jacob), like as a baby—white hair, even like facial features, very similar to my brother, which is actually really kind of creepy,” Davis said with a smile. “But it’s cool to see the, you know, I feel like they’re changing every day. I feel like he grows up by the week. It’s the best.”
Davis and his wife, Kristen, are parents to three young children. Locklan is the middle child, in addition to his big sister Eloise, 4, and little brother Elijah, born in June. The Louisiana-born singer-songwriter was one of several country stars to welcome a new addition to the family in 2023. Davis said when Elijah was born, “God is good! …Very blessed and thankful for all the well wishes and prayers, and so proud to get to be Eli’s Dad.”
