Kenny Chesney shared a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals for his highly-anticipated run of shows at a unique, immersive venue in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Chesney shared a brief clip of himself on stage as he rehearses for Kenny Chesney LIVE at Sphere Las Vegas, which kicks off on Thursday evening (May 22). The country megastar takes the stage with “Beer In Mexico,” the smash-hit anthem he released in 2005, in a sneak peek he shared on TikTok on Tuesday (May 20).

The 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee announced his Vegas run earlier this year. He’s since extended the originally-announced 12-show residency for a total of 15 performance dates. Chesney said in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he’s “never done a residency in Vegas. …But this is such a unique, different thing for me and my band, my crew, our road family and the audience that we’ve built over the years. I just feel like it’s such (an) immersive thing. You know, it’s such a shared moment. I walked in there. I haven’t seen a show yet. I haven’t seen U2, I haven’t seen the Eagles. I signed up, yes, without seeing a show. But I went there, and they showed me a little bit of what was possible.”

Chesney was kicking off his rehearsals at that time, and said concertgoers should expect his usual vibe of “positive energy and love” at his shows. We’re just gonna open up our hearts and open up our arms and say ‘come on in.’”

“I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney said in a statement when he announced his decision perform a run of shows at the unique, immersive venue. “Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean, how these songs are part of their lives. When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more.

“When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in,” he continued. “Just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”
