Brett Young Covers Romantic Ballad That Luke Combs Played At His Wedding

Brett Young covered a romantic Luke Combs ballad that served as his wedding song nearly seven years ago.

While catching up with iHeartCountry Australia, the California-born country star covered “Beautiful Crazy.” Young said as he shared the clip on Instagram on Wednesday evening (August 6) that he and his wife, Taylor Mills Young, “were lucky enough to have [Luke Combs] sing this at our wedding before it even went to country radio and it has meant the world to us ever since. It’s been an honor and a BLAST to play it every night this year out on the road. Thanks for the loaner, buddy!”

Young married his wife in November 2018. Since then, the couple welcomed two daughters. Presley Elizabeth arrived in October 2019, and Rowan Marie followed in July 2021. Young has previously said that he “was supposed to be a girl dad. …I just love the way my relationship is with both of my daughters.”

Combs debuted “Beautiful Crazy” on the deluxe edition of his debut studio album, This One’s for You Too. The 17-track extended project also included “Hurricane,” “One Number Away,” “When It Rains It Pours,” “She Got the Best of Me” and more. Combs recently celebrated his five-year anniversary with wife Nicole Combs. They share sons Tex Lawrence, who recently turned 3, and Beau Lee, who turns 2 this month.
