NFL Conditioning Coach Says Country Music Bad For Your Attitude

Close-Up Of American Football On Field At Night

Is country music bad for your attitude? The mental conditioning coach for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson thinks so.

Trevor Moawad, who's been called the sports world's best brain trainer, tells a Seattle radio station, “You know, country music is great, but it’s so negative that…we don’t want to have that really dictating our internal ad campaign. That doesn’t mean you can’t listen to it, but if you’re going through a divorce or a tough challenge and you’re listening to sad music, you’re going to be influenced negatively.”

Obviously, Moawad seems to be stuck in an old country music stereotype. Back in the day, there were many more sad country songs out there. These days, I'd say more songs are up than down. What do you think?
