Poor Potato Crop May Cause French Fry Shortage

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but french fries may become a little scarce.

According to Bloomberg, cold and wet weather damaged crops in the US and Canada crucial for keeping up with french fry supply. The potatoes were stunted and didn't come out long enough to be turned into french fries. The potato crop forecast in the U.S. is at the lowest since 2010, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture report.

Will you pay more to have fries this winter??
